Since I’m installing the 4″ LED tail light conversion on the Fiero, I will be losing the reverse lights. By law I am required to have them, so there is a small modification that you can do to get the reverse lights back: mount the lights in the bumper.
I went to Princess Auto today and picked up some fog lights (on sale) for $14.99. Not bad considering they are $49.99 regular price. They also come with a remote control switch, but I won’t be using it because the lights are wired in directly to the reverse sensor switch to automatically go on when you put the car in reverse.
But I imagine I will find another use for the remote switch :)
